BABES ON A BUDGET

Hello my honeys! Today I am bringing you a little fashion post on my outfit from the weekend. I used to go out literally every single weekend without fail when I was 18 until I was around 20 and I used to buy a new outfit every week (crazy I know). Now that I am getting older and have different priorities and bills to pay, I definitely don’t go out as much as that anymore of course and I love nothing more than a cosy night in. However when I do go out now, I still like to look nice and love getting a new outfit and all glammed up. I have realised now though, that although of course it is nice to treat yourself sometimes, it is also so easy to create outfits that don’t have to cost the Earth.

On Saturday I went out with one of my besties and my work friends into Glasgow for my friend Rachel’s leaving do. We went to Bread and Butter for cocktails which were so yummy and then we headed to Light Nightclub in Royal Exchange Square which was so fun and we danced all night! I decided to go for a little snake print crop top and beige midi skirt combo for the night paired with some gold barely there heels. I wanted a nice outfit that I can wear again or mix and match as I am going on holiday to Cape Verde in less than two months time and this little outfit will be perfect to take with me to wear at night time.

Would you believe me if I told you this little top and skirt combo cost me less than £15? The crop top was only £4 and the midi skirt was only £8! So amazing. For any of you babes on a budget, sometimes it is cheaper to buy little mix and match pieces like this as it usually ends up being a lot more friendly on your bank account! I think this outfit looks a lot more expensive than it is and the quality of the items is fantastic. The material of both the top and the skirt is super thick and soft and the colour quality was fabulous even after washing. Also another top tip with online stores is to always look out for discount codes to get free or cheaper delivery if you are on a budget. PrettyLittleThing, In The Style, Boohoo and Missguided often do daily codes for cheaper delivery costs which is always helpful. PrettyLittleThing also have a delivery option called PLT Royalty which I am signed up to where you pay a one off payment of £8.99 and get free next day delivery for a whole year! How amazing is that?!

Top – PLT

Skirt – PLT

I hope you all enjoyed this wee post girlies and if any of you are ever needing help looking for an outfit for a night out or a special occasion then just drop me a message – I’d love to help! I am always online browsing anyway and spying on the latest trends and cute outfits that I like. Thanks for reading and lots of love until next time,
