Hi loves! Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all, especially my lovely Irish readers (I know there is a lot of you!). I would say around half of my following on Snapchat are all lovely girls from Ireland so thank you so much ladies for your support, I hope you all enjoy your Paddy’s Day weekend! So today I want to talk just a little bit about gratitude and positivity and how to use it to change your entire life. For real.

As you all know, I am obsessed with all things spirituality based – law of attraction, crystals, positvity – allllll the good vibes! As I’ve said before, I have been studying all things spirituality for around 4 years now I would say. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t read or watch something new about spirituality and the Law of Attraction and learn more. I can’t get enough of it and when I learn more I want to share more with other people because I notice how much the knowledge of it changes my life day by day for the better.


One of the most important things I have learned about living the best life you can is to have gratitude. Basically this is because if you have gratitude for all of the things you already have, it allows more good things to come to you and life will give you even more things to be grateful for (otherwise known as manifestation). I truly believe 100% in this concept because I see how much it has changed everything about the way I think, the way I view things in the World and much more. One thing a lot of spiritual masters and teachers encourage you to do is to keep a gratitude diary or journal and write down at least 10 things that you are grateful for before bed each night and then read it again first thing in the morning. That way, you can start and finish each day with a grateful heart which makes you become basically a magnet for good things to come your way. I have been doing this for a long time now and it is so helpful. I can’t even describe how much it makes you feel happier, lighter and more positive. It doesn’t have to be anything major, it could be something as simple as “I am so grateful that I have a roof over my head and fresh food to eat every day”. Something along those lines, it can be so simple yet cause such a huge vibrational shift in your energy and mood.

Another thing that walks hand in hand with gratitude is positivity. I cannot explain how important it is to try to remain positive and have positive thoughts and feelings every day. I know sometimes in life it is so much easier to be negative and let negative thoughts and feelings get to you, however it is all about training your brain to think differently and have faith. It is a process don’t get me wrong, but if you apply even just the technique of writing down a few things your grateful for everyday you will start to see major changes. Sometimes I hear people and all they do is complain, complain, complain about every little thing or look at life in the negative and of course, to each their own, but I just think to myself, why would you not want to look at life in a positive way? You would honestly be amazed at the effect on your life simply by just having a little faith and a little positivity. I truly have done a 360 degree spin on the way I look at life since learning about all of these things and I can’t tell you how much it has changed me. I will honestly never revert back to a negative way of thinking because the law of attraction tells us that like attracts like. So if you are complaining and being negative about something, more of that will show up in your life and I think that is really important to keep in mind. One thing though that I have come to understand is, a lot of people don’t want to believe that they are creating their own reality, they want someone, literally anyone they can find to blame except themselves for their situation. What I am here to tell you is that is not true. You are creating your reality and life with every thought and action. I know that some people reading this might think “what a load of crap!”, however I would really encourage anyone who feels like that or feels negative and down or stuck – to try these two simple techniques of being grateful and positive every day for at least 30 days and watch how much it changes you and your life, I promise.


The thing is, I’m not here to preach or tell anyone what to do because we are all our own people and have our own thoughts and opinions. I am simply just passing on the knowledge I have gained through studying this way of life and I can tell you 100% that it works! I also wanted to quickly recommend a couple of my favourite books I have read that have really helped me on my path to learn and understand more about living the best life possible. For a start of course The Secret books by Rhonda Byrne which I have mentioned a few times before. If you have never heard of the Law of Attraction before and want to know more I highly recommend reading The Secret. From the day I read that it honestly my life changed completely. Another great book is You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero. I recently just finished this book and it was fantastic, I would honestly recommend it to anyone. It is funny and to the point about the Law of Attraction and I found it really entertaining and helpful.

The thing is, there is literally so much I could say or talk about on this topic that it is hard to fit it all in to one post but I hope I was able to get my point across in a way that is easy enough to understand.
