The Kindness of Strangers

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I’m off to Tenerife early tomorrow morning but wanted to write a little blog post for you all before I left. Once I’m back I have loads of good posts planned so keep an eye out for them – a holiday clothes haul, holiday make-up and hair tutorials and more so if you want to keep up to date remember you can follow my blog by signing up for e-mail updates! If you are on a PC or laptop it should be on the sidebar. If your on a mobile click on the part that says ‘leave a comment’ at the top next to the date this post was published and when it takes you to the comment section just scroll right down and hit Follow! You won’t get any spam emails or anything just simple alerts of when I post.

Anyway I thought I would do a post today on something amazing that happened on Monday that I can’t get over!!! Kyle and I were at the local shop buying in supplies for some good ol’ fajitas. We were at the cash desk and as the cashier scanned our things through and a man came up to us out of the busy queue holding a loaf of bread. He said “I know this is going to sound totally random, but do you two like Rihanna?” Being a huge Rihanna fan I was like “yep I love her, why?!” and to my complete surprise he pulled two tickets out of his jacket pocket and handed them to me! I stared at him in disbelief. I asked how much they were. He said they were free. I continued staring at him in even more disbelief. “The concert starts at 8:30 so you will definitely make it if you leave soon!” he said. I was literally so touched. This man could have made serious money from selling them or he could have given them to a family member or friend but instead he chose to give them to us. You could see how happy he was seeing my delighted face light up. Me and Kyle were totally caught off guard and didn’t catch his name but I WISH so much that we had so we could thank him properly. It was such a nice thing for him to do as he could have easily sold them to make some money for himself. We kinda rushed out the shop in a daze as there was a huge queue building up behind us and we had an hour and a half to eat dinner and get to Hampden Park. We managed though and had the best time!

That one kind stranger gave us the chance to make even more memories together and did something out of the total goodness of his heart. I always try to be as positive as I can in life and always look on the bright side but I can honestly say it has changed the way I look at life even more now. I truly believe that if you live life with good intentions and be a caring, good person then good things will come back to you in abundance. That stranger has inspired me to try and be an even better person and do things out of pure kindness, not for any selfish gain or reward, just because.

Sorry this post is a bit short today but I really just wanted to do a little post dedicated to that sweet man. As I said before I wish I could thank him again personally. Remember if you want to get e-mail updates the minute I post you can follow me via the comments section or at the sidebar – I can’t wait to do loads of amazing blog posts for you all when I’m home!!!
